Rescuing Little Odin

A lady was calling different vet offices to see if she could find someone to perform free surgery on this kitten she had found. I told her there probably wasn't any vet in town that would do that, but i took her number and told her I'd call around. This poor little kitten was beaten up by some kids, its mother and brother were already dead. It needed its eye removed, it had fleas, worms, and it was underweight and terrified of everything. The next day my fiance agreed that I could rescue the little kitten, even though we couldn't have any more cats at our house. So that following Monday I had the surgery done to remove his eye. We named him Odin after the Norse God that had one eye. We had to give one of our other kittens to my mom so that we could keep him. He is now doing very well.
