Cats are such beautiful, elegant and enchanting creatures, which is why artists have drawn them, storytellers have written about them and poets spoke verses about them over the centuries.

Cats
A cat is there when you need them,Think of my cat, Purdy, to me she is a precious little gem,
She rubs her soft fur against me when i am down,
And she certainly takes away my frown.
She can open a door alone,
And to that i don't moan!
She licks me and makes me smile,
She pads sweetly along the kitchen tile,
She is always joyful and playful, she loves food,
She is always in a good mood,
Because she is a precious gem,
A cat is there when you need them.
