A Cat in the Dark

He lurks in the dark,
and puts up a fight.
Hes waiting for someone,
to make his life right.

Hes being killed
very slow, not fast.
What did he do
wrong in the past?

People pass by him
without a care.
Won't you please
help the cat right there?

Hes never been loved,
hes never been held.
He thinks about
all the nights he has yelled.

When will god come
and take him away?
Or give him a place,
that he can stay?

Finally, I see that
poor little cat.
And now it is
the end of all that.
