Cats are such beautiful, elegant and enchanting creatures, which is why artists have drawn them, storytellers have written about them and poets spoke verses about them over the centuries.

Brave One

At night we always put our cat Bubbles into our back room, which has a catflap. Bubbles is only 4 months old and is quite a nervous cat. However, when I went to lift her to put her into the back room she didn't want to move as she was too comfortable. I went for a second time to lift her when she started growling. Well I couldn't stop laughing as she thought she was being very brave. I give in and let her stay in the front room that night.

Because she got away with it she thought that she would try it again the next night. But I'm afraid it wasn't going to work two nights in a row. So she relunctantly went into the back room. I should have named her 'Brave One'.
