Description: The Clouded Leopard is considered to be the largest cat in the medium-size group of wildcats. The most distinct physical feature of the clouded leopard is its pattern coat. The fur is pale yellow to brown with large shaded blotches that are edged in black or brown. The Clouded Leopard is well known for its ability to climb trees and hang from branches using its hind legs. It is a solitary animal, except during breeding. Hunting either day or night, it preys on deer, birds, wild boar and small mammals. Lifespan: 11 years |
