Description: The coat of the Asian Golden Cat varies in colour from red to golden brown, dark brown, grey or black. The markings on the coat vary depending on the range; some coats may have a pattern of spots and stripes. The most noticeable feature of this cat is the white and black-stripped markings on the head. There are also white markings on the underside and inner legs. The Asian golden cat is generally nocturnal, often hunting in pairs. Its main diets consists of rodents, birds, deer and water buffalo calves. Lifespan: 18 years |
